The MiniTide a good watch and a good bargain. I like the design of Rip Curl watches Even though I’m not a surfer, it is a novelty to observe the tides. I also like the mint color and the Mini-Tide lcd display at 20 mm is larger than the previous womens oceansearch models. There are a few things missing compared to the my previous mint Oceansearch, although they are not dealbreakers to me, they may matter to you.1. No moonphase icon 2. limited tide settings, very small wrist band If you are planning to use this over wetsuit gear look else wear. The band is really small and I’ll be lucky if it fits over a 3/2. Can’t wear it over winter gear. Also dissapointed in tide setting. Very limited North east USA locations
It gets stained too fast. I love the watch itself but within 5 days of getting it, it was already stained with a greenish/yellow color that looks disgusting.
